Testing the Waters (First Post)

This project topic is about the ocean becoming more acidic each year because of the amount of CO2 that we produce each year. This increase in acidification kills fish which will then in turn affect us because a significant number of people depend on the ocean for life. I feel like this topic is important because it affects everyone on the planet regardless of nation or culture. The environment is a topic that does get reported on but in only a broad sense. More media attention should be focused on how our excess carbon dioxide production is not only destroying the ozone layer but is ruining our oceans.
